Why A Design Over The Budget?

Please look part blow, Does this look like a $8,000 part?

Not because of the material (It's aluminum). Because of:
- Multiple intersecting bores : $
- Critical datum relationships : $$$
- Tight postional tolerances  : $$$$
- ......

Individually item above?  Easy
Together items above?  Very expensive

Every feature must line up with everything else.That means:
- more setups
- more inspection
- higher scrap risk
- ......

Bad tolerances = wasted time, wasted tooling, wasted money.

Please, Tighten what matters and loosen what doesn’t.....
