The Pain In Quality Teams

Quality teams are often blamed when problems appear. But the truth is rarely discussed. Most quality teams live in this daily reality:
- Production wants dispatch today.
- Sales promises delivery tomorrow.
- Management wants zero defects.
- Auditors want perfect documentation.
- ......

And the quality team stands in the middle trying to protect the system.
When quality raises a concern, it is often seen as “blocking work.”
But when the same issue becomes a customer complaint, suddenly everyone asks: "Why didn’t the quality team prevent this?"

Quality is expected to prevent problems… But often without authority, without resources, and sometimes without leadership support.

The real question is not: “Why did quality fail?”
The real question is: “Did the organization truly support quality when it mattered?”

Because quality systems don’t fail. Leadership discipline fails first.
